Hi, I'm Anushka!

I'm Anushka, a student in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington's College of Engineering. My design focus centers on creating solutions that are not just visually appealing but also accessible and equitable.

Driven by a commitment to inclusivity, I actively volunteer to provide education to blind and underprivileged children globally. This practical experience deeply influences my approach to design, emphasizing empathy and addressing diverse needs.

In addition to my design pursuits, I'm passionate about leadership. Currently, I serve as a leader in the College of Engineering, guiding first-year engineering students through their exploration journey. My leadership approach values user feedback, which is reflected in providing a platform for students to weekly share their insights on my lessons and instruction style.

Outside the design realm, I thrive on challenges. Whether running long distances or embarking on multi-day treks in remote areas, I value resilience and perseverance—qualities that shape my design philosophy.
